Apply Job no: Y4BJF Work with and learn from high performing Dentists Modern practice with state of the art technology Ongoing training and development About the position: Caneland Dental is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, working a 9-day fortnight, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Our dentists and team are passionate about providing high-quality treatment while ensuring every patient feels comfortable, supported and well cared for throughout their experience. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort. Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area. Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised. Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care. Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience. Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.
