Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager, Retail Food and Beverage to join our team at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), one of Australia's most celebrated sporting and entertainment venues. As an Assistant Manager, you'll be responsible for managing retail activities within the stadium to achieve the site's financial plan, profit margins, and business growth.

What you will do?

• Work closely with stakeholders to develop and promote membership facilities and activation
• Lead key retail staff to ensure operational activities maximise return on investment
• Ensure compliance with relevant corporate policies and procedures
• Deliver retail food and beverage products and services that meet and exceed client and guest expectations
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

More about you

• Experience across Retail, Quick Service Restaurants, or Corporate within large-scale hospitality environments
• Relevant experience leading across a sizeable operation with multiple outlets
• A passion for food and product development
• Previous experience leading, coaching, and developing large teams with exposure to conflict resolution
• Experience in stock taking and understanding of labour controls and food cost management
• RSA Certificate and Food Handlers Certificate required
