Employment Type: Temporary Part Time, 32 hours per week until Sep 2027 . Temporary roles are available to visa holders, with contracts issued in accordance with visa conditions. Visa holders will be considered where no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified.
Remuneration: Speech pathologist level 1-2: $40.05 - $57.14 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

The SWS Stuttering Unit is a speech pathology team that specialises in working with clients who stutter. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician develop and consolidate skills specific to working with this client group. This clinician will have opportunity to work with people who stutter across intake, assessment and throughout the treatment process, supported by experienced senior clinicians.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in assessment and management of stuttering and modifying and adapting assessments and interventions to meet the need of culturally and linguistically diverse populations

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
