About the role

Reporting to the Security Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the safe, secure and efficient operation of the health service. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, with opportunities to support patients, staff and visitors across a range of activities.

You'll assist with patient support and transfers, portering, cleaning and general service duties, while also responding to security matters and helping maintain a safe environment throughout the facility. Working under clinical direction where required, you'll contribute to the delivery of a responsive and reliable service.

You'll be part of a collaborative team, working across a range of tasks to help the health service run smoothly and ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant policies, procedures and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid NSW Drivers Licence
• Current Class 1A NSW Security Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate

• To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
