Achieve Something Great
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants, children, adolescents, and their families by joining our dedicated Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) teams based at Liverpool or Bankstown. As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented assessment, therapeutic intervention, and care coordination for young people experiencing a range of mental health challenges.
Working alongside families, carers, schools, health professionals, and community partners, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional wellbeing, development, and recovery of children and young people. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and experienced team environment while contributing to positive and lasting outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
As a pool clinician, you'll begin by supporting one of our teams to fill a current vacancy. As new opportunities arise across our mental health services, you may be offered the chance to transition to other teams-providing you with valuable experience and exposure across the diverse services within SWSLHD Community Mental Health. Future roles may become available at Ingleburn, Campbelltown, Ambarvale, Fairfield, and Wollondilly.
Are You the Right Fit?
You are a compassionate and adaptable mental health professional who thrives in a dynamic team environment and is committed to strengthsfocused, personcentred care. As a pool clinician, you are open to sharing your expertise across services as needs arise, with opportunities to work not only in Bankstown but potentially across other community mental health locations within the district. You value professional growth and quality practice, actively contributing to clinical supervision, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary collaboration, while maintaining a flexible, recoveryfocused approach to supporting children, young people, and their families.
