Permanent position Full time (80 hours per fortnight + monthly ADO) Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 (NM10) Located at Caulfield Hospital Great staff benefits! The Department Better at Home provides subacute home-based care. As an alternative to an inpatient sub-acute stay, patients receive goal-based care in their home environment. Better at Home provides both geriatric and rehabilitation services and incorporates medical, allied health, pharmacy and nursing therapies. The Better at Home Service is based at Caulfield Hospital. The Role The Better at Home Service nursing management structure comprises a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager to support the 45 beds across the North and South Better at Home Teams. The Clinical Nurse Manager role is full-time Monday to Friday. As a member of the Better at Home leadership team supporting the Nurse Manager (NM) in operationalising the core values of Nursing at Alfred Health the Clinical Nurse Manager ensures a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff. The role plays a pivotal role in supporting the future development of the Better at Home service. Qualifications and Experience Required We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is flexible and agile in a changing environment to help shape the Clinical Nurse Manager role to the needs of the Better at Home service, it's nursing staff and patients.
