About the role We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Principal Strategic Programs joining our Future Water Solutions team. This is an exciting leadership role responsible for guiding a small team to deliver Water Corporation's Assets for Liveability Program and a portfolio of nature-based solutions projects that contribute to more liveable, resilient, and sustainable communities across Western Australia. Reporting to the Head of Future Water Solutions and based in our Leederville office, you'll lead the development and delivery of strategic programs that integrate water, urban development, and environmental outcomes. Working with senior internal and external stakeholders, you will drive innovative solutions that support Water Corporation's long-term vision for sustainable water services. What the role will involve Lead, develop and support a small team of professionals to deliver strategic programs and projects, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive team culture Provide program leadership for Water Corporation's Assets for Liveability Program, ensuring successful planning, delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement Lead the identification, development and delivery of Nature Based Solutions projects that provide multiple water, environmental, community and liveability benefits Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local governments, industry partners and other key stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes Contribute to Water Corporation's long term infrastructure planning to embed liveability outcomes and incorporate relevant demand into the services planning Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on emerging opportunities, risks and trends relating to urban water management, liveability and environmental sustainability Influence and collaborate across Water Corporation to integrate innovative and sustainable approaches into planning, infrastructure and service delivery Contribute as an active member of the Future Water Solutions leadership team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous improvement About you We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader who can influence outcomes, build partnerships, and inspire a team to deliver meaningful change. Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, with a strong commitment to coaching, mentoring and people leadership Proven program and project management experience, including delivery of complex or multi-stakeholder initiatives Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders Experience developing business cases, strategic plans, governance frameworks and executive-level reporting Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate strategy into practical outcomes An understanding of, or experience in, Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), integrated water management, liveability initiatives or nature-based solutions would be highly regarded Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as engineering, environmental science, urban planning, project management or related field Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
