About the role

As Policy Officer in the Regional Health Division, you will support a range of work aimed at improving access to health care and health outcomes for people living in regional, rural and remote NSW.
Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $116,981 - $129,492 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you will be doing
The Policy Officer is in the Information and Performance Support Team in the Regional Health Division. The Policy Officer:
- Prepares high quality advice, briefs and correspondence about regional healthcare in NSW.
- Supports monitoring and reporting on the Regional Health Strategic Plan.
- Collates and analyses data and information to support the Regional Health Division.
- Provides project support for a range of regional health initiatives.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- The ability to prepare high quality written information for a range of audiences.
- Experience preparing, analysing and presenting data and information.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the health environment in NSW and the regional health landscape, including current priorities and challenges.

- The ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment, working across a range of projects.
