The Role

Behind every successful export shipment lies a promise of operational excellence. As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Supervisor, you'll be the leader ensuring that promise is delivered.

This role is about more than supervising processes, it's about guiding a team of Operational Care Specialists, driving efficiency, and balancing costeffectiveness with highquality service. You'll oversee export operations, strengthen carrier relationships, and continuously improve workflows to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Operational Care Specialists, ensuring operational excellence in shipment management and export services.
• Collaborate with Customer Care locations (CCL) to proactively provide solutions, knowledge, and alternatives that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and strengthen carrier relationships to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for lean, costefficient processes.
• Optimize Sea Logistics operational KPIs and ensure productivity through effective systems and processes.
• Perform timely and accurate cost/revenue updates, escalating files below minimum GP thresholds.
• Support and resolve claims and disputes.
• Undertake additional tasks as required by management.
• Hold a valid driver's license and be available for domestic travel.

Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding and supply chain management, with a strong focus on Sea Logistics.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, regulations, and KN systems.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Team leadership and collaboration in a positive workplace environment.
• Clear and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Problemsolving ability, adaptability, and efficiency in fastpaced settings.
• Customerfocused mindset with proactive solutions.
