ROOM ATTENDANT - Hamilton Island / Housekeeping

Hamilton Island is seeking reliable and motivated Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. Across our collection of hotels and holiday accommodation, you'll help create memorable guest experiences by ensuring every room is clean, comfortable, and ready to welcome our guests.

Your Role

As a Room Attendant, you'll be responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms while maintaining the high presentation standards Hamilton Island is known for. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.

Where you'll make an impact

• Clean and service an allocated number of guest rooms each shift
• Replenish guest amenities, towels, and linen as required
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys and service areas
• Ensure rooms are presented to Hamilton Island's quality standards
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness in guest corridors and service areas
• Deliver friendly and professional service to guests when required
• Support the housekeeping team during busy operational periods

What we're looking for

You are reliable, organised, and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. You enjoy working as part of a team, have a positive attitude, and understand the important role housekeeping plays in creating exceptional guest experiences.

To be successful, you will need:

• Current open/unrestricted Driver Licence (Essential)
• Nationally Recognised RSA (Essential)
• Minimum 6 months' experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning (Preferred)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable of performing a hands-on role
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
