At Cats in the City, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through it's doors. We are now looking for the pick of the litter to complement our existing team and help contribute to providing a premium service to pets and their families. Our Cats In the City Cat Boarding in South Perth is a Premium cat boarding facility which takes care of all cats, being very thorough with their cleaning and feeding regime.

Our shifts are 7:30am to 6pm Monday through to Friday and 8:00am to 3.30pm Saturday and Sunday, with the ability to adapt to a variety of shifts and schedules. Availability to work weekends and across all school holiday periods (including Christmas and Easter) is required.

What you'll be doing:
Caring for boarding cats - feeding, grooming, enrichment
Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety
Health checks and general animal husbandry
Supervising cats and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety
Placing pets in our cat area and providing enrichment to pets
Providing friendly service to pet owners
Creating and distributing media content for our pet owners through photos
Ensuring accurate record keeping and entering information in our booking systems
Supporting your team to ensure the best outcomes for our furry guests
Helping in the clinic, hold animals, clean cages, top up essentials, prepare packs, answer calls, book in clients etc.

What we're looking for:
Previous experience working or volunteering with animals is preferred
Availability on weekends and school holiday periods
Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and independently
Confident communicators with a friendly, professional approach to customer service
Reliable, positive team players who enjoy fast-paced, hands-on work
Ability to work independently and willing to ask for guidance when needed
Be committed to working safely and following instructions, policies and procedures at all times
