Wenow have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Coordinator to joinour collaborative team. In this newly created role, you'll partner closely withPeople & Culture Business Partners and Talent Advisors, to deliver end toend recruitment activities while ensuring legislative and policy compliance, creatingmemorable experiences for candidates, managers, and employees right from theinitial attraction stages through to induction, onboarding, probation processand offboarding as needed.
Working alongside our People & Culture team and KulungaAboriginal Unit, you'll also contribute to initiatives that support andstrengthen our Aboriginal workforce. This includes developing a professionalservices Cadetship program.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver end to end recruitment screening, interviewing, reference checking and offer management.
- Utilise sourcing techniques (both active and passive) to attract high quality Aboriginal candidates.
- Assist with providing ongoing support to Aboriginal new starters with regular check ins.
- Conduct Yarning Interviews with Aboriginal staff who are leaving to support offboarding reporting and understand ways in which the Institute can retain top talent.
- Support reporting on Aboriginal statistics, growth, leavers etc.
Located in our modern offices within Perth Children's Hospital inNedlands, this full-time role will be offered a 12-month fixed term appointment.
About You
Thesuccessful applicant will hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field orvocational qualification in Human Resource Management (Certificate IV/Diploma)or comparable experience in an administrative human resource/recruitmentadministration role. You will be a collaborative and people-focused individualwho is eager to build your career in HR and learn from an experienced team.
You will alsodemonstrate:
- Experience in providing high level administrative support to a HR team.
- Experience in providing support to managers through all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, enabling prioritisation of business-as-usual activities and project work, to deliver competing work priorities to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and effectively contribute to a team environment.
- Ability to research, think laterally and pragmatically in approaching a resolution to issues, from multiple lenses with a continuous improvement mindset.
