We're looking for an experienced Workplace Relations Senior Advisor to join our People, Performance & Capability team. Reporting to the Workplace Relations Manager, this newly created role offers the opportunity to shape how workplace relations are delivered across a large, complex and highly unionised organisation.

Partnering with leaders across our network, you'll provide expert workplace and industrial relations advice while managing complex employee matters with confidence, fairness and commercial judgement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide end to end support across a broad range of workplace relations matters.
  • Provide expert advice on the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, modern awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.
  • Partner with leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused workplace relations solutions.
  • Represent or support I-MED in Fair Work Commission matters and assist with enterprise bargaining and union engagement.
  • Prepare investigation reports, policies and workplace documentation.
  • Coach leaders and People team members to build workplace relations capability.
  • Monitor legislative changes and identify emerging workplace relations risks and opportunities.

About You

You'll be a trusted Workplace Relations professional who enjoys solving complex people challenges and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You'll bring:

  • Significant Workplace and Industrial Relations experience within a large, multi-site organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.
  • Experience managing complex investigations and employee relations matters.
  • Exposure to highly unionised environments and multiple industrial instruments.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • A practical, human-centred approach with sound commercial judgement.
