Are you an organised, confident, and personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Part-Time Customer Experience Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team, with the opportunity for the role to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience while helping keep our busy clinic running smoothly.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires someone who can confidently juggle multiple tasks, communicate effectively with clients, and remain calm under pressure.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Managing a busy reception desk and phone system
- Scheduling appointments and coordinating daily clinic workflow
- Processing payments and discussing treatment estimates and costs with clients
- Making follow-up calls regarding treatment estimates, wellness memberships, appointments, and outstanding items
- Handling client enquiries with empathy and confidence
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting administrative tasks including managing emails and assisting with social media
- Working collaboratively with our veterinary and nursing teams
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
- Have excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Be confident discussing financial matters, payment options, and treatment estimates with clients
- Be comfortable making proactive follow-up phone calls
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Be a team player who enjoys helping both people and animals
- Previous veterinary industry experience is desirable but not essential
