About the Role
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. Working within a fast-paced acute hospital environment, you will utilise your clinical expertise across the perioperative setting, including trauma cases, to support patients throughout their surgical journey.
You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals to coordinate and deliver outcome-focused care. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills, contribute to positive patient outcomes, and work as part of a highly skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.
About You
You are a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and the clinical expertise to thrive in a perioperative environment. You bring a strong commitment to patient-centred care and have the confidence to make sound clinical decisions in complex and fast-paced situations.
With excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, you work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Your ability to solve clinical problems, adapt to changing priorities and maintain a high standard of care makes you a valuable member of any surgical team.
What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
