DESCRIPTION

As Vice President, Finance, you will control and influence a high-performing international finance organization across Australia, India, and Asia. You'll provide mentorship, performance coaching, and professional development to your direct reports and their teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.

You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy and be responsible for making complex, strategic decisions that have a significant impact across the organization. You'll hold full accountability for the region's financial performance, including financial stewardship, planning, governance, risk management, and the achievement of business objectives.

Working with a global scope, you'll collaborate closely with the Group Leadership Team, Global Finance Leadership Team, and Regional Leadership Team to help shape strategy, drive execution, and ensure alignment across the enterprise.

Your decisions will have a substantial impact on business performance, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and our ability to deliver value to customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Senior Leadership to drive the achievement of financial and operational targets.

  • Provide insight and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, including profitability and ROI analysis, sales target setting, business plan reviews, pricing strategy, pricing reviews, and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Measure and report business performance to key stakeholders, including Regional business leaders, the Regional Senior Leadership Team, and the Group Senior Leadership Team.

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Region.

  • Lead all local financial activities within the Region and serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Finance and Controlling activities.

  • Represent the regional interface with central Finance Operations.

  • Harmonize local processes and progressively transition appropriate activities to Finance Operations for centralized delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with regional financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong financial acumen, advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities

  • Solid understanding of AI technologies and their application to finance, decision-making, and business transformation.

  • Agile and open-minded approach, with the confidence to challenge conventional thinking and drive innovation.

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, builds effective relationships across functions

  • Leverages broad cross-functional business knowledge to achieve shared outcomes.
