Immersive Technologies is looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Team in Malaga.

Working from our modern, clean workshop, you'll help manufacture world-leading mining simulator products. You'll be part of a skilled team producing complex, low-volume, high-quality custom-built equipment. About the Role

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the fabrication and manufacture of light-gauge steel and aluminium components, using a range of sheet metal and welding processes to produce precision parts and assemblies.

Your duties will include:

  • MIG and TIG welding
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship and close tolerances
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working safely and maintaining excellent workshop housekeeping standards

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Trade Qualification (Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 years post-trade experience
  • Experience working with light-gauge sheet metal and aluminium
  • Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good time management and housekeeping standards
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Highly Regarded

  • Experience operating a Press Brake
  • Experience in custom manufacturing or design and development environments
