Join the Team
As the Manager, Financial Services within our Finance team, you will lead the delivery of financial reporting, governance, assurance and compliance functions across eHealth NSW. You will oversee the budgeting and forecast coordination and consolidation process, as well as statutory reporting and financial controls, while partnering with business leaders to provide strategic financial advice that supports organisational performance, accountability and long-term financial sustainability.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and inspire the Financial Services team, driving high-quality financial reporting, audit coordination, compliance activities and financial governance across eHealth NSW.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to coordinate and deliver budgeting, forecasting and financial management processes, ensuring compliance with NSW Treasury and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee and enhance financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory accounts, annual reporting and financial controls to support informed decision-making and organisational transparency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leading audit responses, risk management activities, training programs and change management to strengthen financial processes and compliance.

About You
To be successful in this role you'll be a collaborative and influential finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise and a passion for driving financial integrity, governance and continuous improvement.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, financial controls, reconciliations and audit management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to provide trusted financial advice, influence senior leaders and manage relationships with auditors, regulators and external stakeholders.
  • Expert knowledge of financial governance, risk management and compliance, with a proven ability to interpret and apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline, together with full or ongoing membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting body (CA ANZ, CPA Australia or equivalent), or extensive equivalent experience.
