Your New Role

Are you an experienced Test Manager who thrives in complex delivery environments and enjoys taking ownership of testing outcomes from strategy through to implementation?

As Senior Test Manager, you'll lead testing across the Lifetime Income program, ensuring robust planning, governance, execution and delivery readiness across a broad range of business and technology initiatives. Reporting to the Program Test Lead, you'll work closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders, technology teams and strategic delivery partners to drive quality outcomes while maintaining delivery momentum.

This role requires someone equally comfortable developing testing approaches and governance frameworks as they are getting hands-on when required. What You'll Do

  • Lead business and technology test phases across the Lifetime Income program, from system test to BVT.
  • Develop and manage integrated test plans, schedules, quality gates and release readiness activities.
  • Build a team of analysts to execute.
  • Manage defect triage, environments, test data, dependencies and delivery risks across multiple teams.
  • Partner with vendors and stakeholders to ensure testing is planned early and executed effectively.
  • Provide clear reporting, governance and quality assurance recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing capability, processes and delivery outcomes.

What You'll Need

  • Strong Test Management experience across large, complex technology and business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience leading testing across the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, governance and release readiness.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholders, teams and vendor partners.
  • Strong understanding of defect management, test data, environment management and integrated delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership.
  • Strong risk management capability and experience effectively escalating issues to support delivery outcomes.
  • Experience working within regulated and complex enterprise environments.

Highly regarded:

  • Superannuation industry experience.
  • Experience supporting Lifetime Income, superannuation product or insurance implementations.
  • Experience with new product launches or major member-facing transformation programs.
  • Financial Services, Wealth or Insurance experience.
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, TestRail or similar testing tools.
  • Exposure to automation strategies, DevOps and cloud technologies.
