About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Product Developer to join the Nude Lucy team on a 12 month contract and play a key role in bringing our collections to life!

Working closely with Design, Production and Garment Technicians, you'll support the product development process from concept through to final shipment sample, helping ensure every product meets Nude Lucy's premium quality standards while delivering commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about starting or growing their career in elevated womenswear.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the end-to-end product development process from initial concept through to final shipment samples.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining detailed tech packs, bills of materials (BOMs), artwork, trim, labelling and fabric specifications.
  • Liaise with offshore suppliers and factories throughout the development lifecycle, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist in coordinating fabric, trim and lab dip submissions, and tracking approvals.
  • Support cross-costing and cross-sourcing activities to help achieve margin targets.
  • Attend product fittings (PROTO, SMS and PP), taking notes and helping update tech packs and communicate changes to suppliers.
  • Help ensure all product development documentation is accurate and reflects final approved product details before bulk production.
  • Support the Production team in reviewing bulk production submissions following order placement.
  • Assist with quality assurance processes, including fabric testing and pre-production quality checks.
  • Collaborate with Design, Production and Garment Technicians to support continuous improvement in product quality and development processes.
  • Help track trade performance and support the implementation of changes throughout the development pipeline.

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years' experience in a Product Development, Technical or related role within women's fashion.
  • A foundational understanding of garment construction, fabrication and the product development process.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within supplier and offshore manufacturing relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across Design, Production and Technical teams.
  • A genuine passion for women's fashion, premium product and quality, with a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude
