We currently have two vacancies for suitably experienced Plant Operator / Multi-Skilled Workers to join our Domestic Resource Recovery team in Maroubra.

We will trust you to bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in working in a team
  • Class HR driver’s licence or relevant other certified qualifications
  • A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card
  • Experience in dealing with members of the public
  • An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • A willingness to comply with all Council’s policies and procedures
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly advantageous.

Things you will do:

  • Perform duties with minimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment
  • Will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of rear loading compactor vehicles.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with Council’s Safe Work Method Statements
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
  • Ensure an ethic with the focus on quality customer service that is responsive to the needs of the community.
