As a Process Worker, you'll play an important role in our Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE), helping deliver quality production outcomes while working alongside and supporting people with disability in a safe, inclusive and rewarding workplace.

What you'll do

  • Complete a variety of production and packaging tasks, including picking, packing, assembly, labelling, collating, sorting and stacking.
  • Work towards daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Operate production equipment safely (and forklifts if appropriately licensed and trained).
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Support and encourage supported employees and students on the production line.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
  • Report hazards, incidents and safety concerns promptly.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, production or process work is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support people with disability in the workplace.
  • A current Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential.

Compliance Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check.
  • Provide proof of Australian work rights (Passport, Birth Certificate or Citizenship Certificate).
  • Complete a National Police Check (paid by Afford).
  • Complete a pre-employment medical and functional assessment (paid by Afford).
