What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will deliver safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care to patients with a broad range of acute and complex healthcare needs. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to positive patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred emergency nursing care within your scope of practice.
Assess, monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a complex clinical environment.
Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with NSW Health policies and professional standards.
Support a culture of continuous learning through professional development, education and mentoring opportunities.

Essential Criteria
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience
Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
