The Role

Team leader- directs and controls the day to day operations and activities of the shift to provide high quality services and outstanding customer care.

The reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices (RMD's) used in Health Services Organisations, (HSO's) adhering to AS/NZS 4187-2014.

Selection Criteria

  1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  2. Previous experience in an Endoscopy unit and/or Sterilizing Services Department and demonstrated knowledge of the workflow and processes.
  3. Good communication skills, both written and oral including the ability to listen to and undertake direction.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and strict time frames in a fast paced environment.
  5. Ability to communicate well and function harmoniously within a multicultural team environment
  6. Understanding of Infection Prevention and Control guidelines, National Sterilisation standards and WH&S requirements.
  7. Ability to meet all physical requirements as described in the position description.
