The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin on a 13-month parental leave contract. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for efficiently processing all gaming transactions while delivering outstanding guest service. What you will do?

• Perform and balance cash, coin, and chip transactions, including conversions for patrons, and reconcile all machines while reporting variances
• Remove, rotate, and manage cash, coin, and chip inventories, determining requirements and placing orders as necessary
• Complete and verify the accuracy of financial reports, ensuring all computer databases are up to date
• Supply currency including chips, cash, and coins to other departments as requested
• Uphold anti-money laundering and security standards consistently

More about you

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cash handling position
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude
• The ability to remain professional in difficult situations
• High level of numeracy and literacy skills and proficient in computer literacy
• Hold certificates in Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling
• Hold a NT Casino Operative's Licence or be willing to obtain
• Available to work across a 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
