Construction delivers an extensive range of specialist services in the areas of infrastructure, storm water drainage, bridge maintenance, transport network technologies, trades, land remediation, asset intelligence, lighting and facility services. The Role Join a team that delivers essential facilities projects and helps maintain the assets that support Brisbane's communities. In this diverse role, you'll coordinate a range of facilities-related projects, minor works and maintenance activities, working closely with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. From project planning and procurement through to site coordination, inspections and project close-out, you'll play a key role in delivering practical outcomes that make a real difference. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships and developing their project management skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key responsibilities of the role include: coordinate facilities projects, minor works and maintenance activities from planning through to completion prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, cost estimates and procurement records coordinate contractors, consultants and suppliers to support successful project delivery undertake site inspections and maintain accurate project, quality and compliance records work with stakeholders to manage site access, resolve routine issues and support project handovers. To be successful you will have: experience coordinating projects, minor works or maintenance activities within agreed timeframes and budgets knowledge of procurement, contract administration and contractor coordination practices the ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders sound understanding of WHS, quality, environmental and compliance requirements within a project environment strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.
