Our Branch Information Services supports and enables all of Council's day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible, and innovative ICT solutions. We lead the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council. The Role This is an exciting opportunity to lead Council's Master Data function and play a key role in strengthening enterprise information management across the organisation. As the Master Data Team Leader, you will lead a team of data management specialists and data stewards responsible for maintaining the integrity, governance and quality of enterprise master data. Working closely with Information Owners, Custodians and business stakeholders, you will help ensure Council's data remains accurate, reliable and fit for purpose, enabling informed decision making and trusted business insights. You will drive enterprise data governance practices, oversee business rules and data quality initiatives, lead continuous improvement opportunities and manage the organisational ERP change process. Success in this role will require strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex organisational environment. To be successful you will have: demonstrated experience leading master data, data governance or enterprise information management functions proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across a complex organisation experience implementing data quality controls, business rules and continuous improvement initiatives highly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills demonstrated leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
