THE POSITION:
To assist in the operations of the kiosks at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Park Athletics Complex and provide excellent customer service for all customers of these facilities.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
- Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO.
- Stadium Operational Hours are 8.30am - 11.00pm, these times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor. Weekend and evening work will be required.
- Hours worked on weekends will attract the appropriate loadings.
- This position requires you to wear a compulsory uniform as per AlburyCity's Our People Dress Code Standards. Our People are required to present a smart and professional image to the public at all times including when in public and when working remotely.
- This position involves working in a predominantly outdoor environment where a varying range of temperatures, weather conditions and walking surfaces may be experienced. The position requires a moderate level of aerobic and physical fitness to undertake regular physical activities such as walking, lifting, pulling, pushing along with the capacity to maintain normal manual handling tasks across the work day - depending on the nature of the tasks undertaken. The use of relevant work method statements and appropriate WHS standards are an integral part of the role. A full functional and medical assessment is required for this position.

- This position is located at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Park Athletics Complex, with occasional visits to external sites/depots as required
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (NSW Food Authority)
- NSW RSA (or willing to obtain)
- Customer Service Training
- First Aid Certificate
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferably in cafe/kiosk environments
- Experience in a customer focused environment including cash handling
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of cash handling and receipting
- Kiosk/cafe and/or food and beverage/hospitality operations and skills
- Demonstrated ability to present food, beverages and products in an attractive manner
- Ability to order stock and liaise with suppliers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers with sales/purchases required in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage handling and presentation.
- Operate POS registers for sales, including reconciliation, daily banking, eftpos and change bags.
- Maintain absolute cleanliness in the following areas:
- Floor areas in kiosks and foyer areas including table and chairs.
- All equipment used for food cooking and presentation ie; coffee maker, salad bar, grilles, toasters, microwave, pie warmer, deep fryer and all other relevant equipment.
- Refrigerators, freezers, countertop and fronts, cool room, shelves and all cutlery, crockery and utensils.
- Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
- Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS.
