In this job you will:

• Previous transport or logistics coordination experience, ideally within a customer-focused environment
• Experience coordinating transport providers and managing carrier relationships
• Sound understanding of transport compliance requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Legislation (NHVL)
• Plan, schedule and coordinate local and regional delivery activities to meet customer expectations
• Monitor transport performance and proactively resolve delivery or service issues
• Maintain effective working relationships with customers, transport providers, drivers, and operational teams
• Support daily transport operations to ensure service levels, safety, and compliance requirements are achieved
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service performance
• Maintain accurate transport documentation, reporting, and operational records
• Ensure adherence to DHL policies, customer requirements, and business processes
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with company and legislative requirements
• Coordinate resource allocation to achieve operational targets and customer commitments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely and informed decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand

You have the following qualities & qualifications:

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet coordination, or supply chain operations
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
• Experience coordinating local and regional deliveries within a fast-paced operational environment
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands, and meet service deadlines
• Sound understanding of transport compliance requirements and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers, drivers, carriers, and operational teams
• Experience monitoring transport performance and managing service-related issues
• High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and transport management systems
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-focused with a positive attitude
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility to support operational requirements outside standard business hours when required
