Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer (HSE) to join our growing HSE team in Perth. Reporting to the Group HSE Manager, the Technical Writer (HSE) will work closely with operational, technical and safety stakeholders, and will be responsible for reviewing, updating and maintaining safety management system documentation, procedures, standards and associated compliance documentation. The tasks you'll perform Review and update Safety Management System documentation Develop and improve safety procedures and guidelines Ensure documentation aligns with operational requirements and legislative obligations Engage with HSE stakeholders to gather information and validate content Maintain document quality, consistency and compliance across management systems Support continuous improvement initiatives within safety and compliance frameworks The expertise you'll bring Demonstrated technical writing experience within mining, resources, heavy industry or similar environments Experience developing and maintaining procedures, standards, management systems or compliance documentation Strong written communication and document control skills The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders across operational and technical teams Experience working within HSE management systems Knowledge of Western Australian mining legislation Familiarity with Mine Safety Management Systems Experience developing safety management plans, risk controls and compliance documentation The benefits we'll provide Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
