About the Role

The Hyperacute Occupational Therapy Team is based on the Intensive Psychiatric Care and High Dependency Units at Concord Centre for Mental Health. The provide Occupational Therapy services to meet the needs of the hyperacute client population, with a focus on sensory interventions, therapeutic engagement in occupation, and proactive de-escalation.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation and current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
