We are seeking a motivated Security Officer to join our facility.

In this highly important role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for a range of stakeholders, include our staff, volunteers and contractors, as well as our patients and visitors.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Must have Certificate 2 in Security Operations with a current NSW Security Licence class 1A, and current First Aid Certificate
  2. Effective experience working in a similar role
  3. Demonstrated experience in responding to a variety of changing and challenging situations
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of managers, staff and a diverse range of patients and members of the public
  5. Must be able to effectively work independently and as part of a multidiscplinary team
  6. Practical knowledge of security equipment including CCTV operations and access control systems
  7. Capability and availability to participate in a 24 hour/seven-day rotating roster
