What you'll be doing
The Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) is a targeted primary health care facility located in Kings Cross involved in the prevention, treatment and care of HIV/AIDS and other transmissible infections among 'at risk' young people, sex workers and people who inject drugs.
This position will take a lead role in the development, implementation and delivery of programs targeting 'at- risk' young people. This position also participates in the delivery of needle syringe program (NSP) services, outreach, health and social welfare referral and KRC health promotion activities.
KRC is one of the SESLHD Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus Services, and this position may collaborate with those services as required.

Selection Criteria
- Relevant qualification or relevant work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Ability to develop, deliver and evaluate health education and training programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health and social welfare issues affecting 'at-risk' young people, sex workers and people who inject drugs.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage and evaluate projects, to meet deadlines, and liaise with government, and non-government stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of harm reduction, health promotion and community development.
- Advanced communication and professional writing skills, including the production of high level reports.
- Willingness and ability to work in the unpredictable and sometimes volatile environment of Kings Cross for day and evening shifts across a 7 day rotating roster.
- Current driver's licence.
