We are looking for a Draftsperson to join our Place & Development team, based in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects that shape communities across Queensland.
The role
As a Draftsperson, you will prepare clear, complete and accurate working and detail plans from sketches, electronic data, or notes. You will collaborate closely with our surveyors, planners and technical specialists to produce high-quality survey, cadastral, subdivision and environmental plans.
You will be involved in:
- Preparing various plans including survey, detail, town planning, environmental and subdivision layouts
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Assisting in project delivery and maintaining high-quality standards
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Applying sound technical expertise and leveraging technology to add value for clients
- This is a role for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys problem-solving and values collaboration.
About you
You will bring:
- Experience drafting Cadastral plans in QLD.
- Minimum of 2 years' drafting experience within the surveying environment
- Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD skills (mandatory)
- Familiarity with survey software such as Survacad, Magnet, 12D, Civil3D or similar
- Experience with GIS software such as MapInfo, Arcview or Global Mapper (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
You must be based in the Brisbane or are willing to relocate, with full working rights, citizenship or Permanent residency status, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
