What you'll do:
Working on a 2:1 roster for an initial 12 month contract, you'll be working on one of our Iron Ore projects with a tier 1 mining client. Your role on site will be to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP) and Quality Management System (QMS), as well as auditing, compliance verification and supporting commissioning.
Utilize the Construction Verification Tracking tool to ensure quality documentation is complete and processed correctly, reporting progress regularly.
Issue quality and non-conformance notices in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct contractor mobilisation audits and audits of EPCM site construction management teams.
Review and expedite QA/QC records, punch lists, and progressive compilation of MDRs, IOMMs, and commissioning training documentation.
Coordinate audits of key contractor documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Engage with contractor QA/QC representatives to confirm understanding and compliance with quality requirements.
Work closely with the commissioning team to register and track punch list items.
About you:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
Auditing Qualification (desirable).
5+ years of experience in quality assurance/control roles within construction or resource projects.
Experience in auditing, non-conformance management, and commissioning support.
Familiarity with QMS tools and documentation systems.
Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain QA/QC processes.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
Ability to conduct audits and manage compliance documentation effectively.
