What does the job look like?
Join Australia's largest Intermodal network and play a pivotal role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently across Australia. This is a hands-on transport operations role with a strong systems focus, where you'll coordinate freight movements, work closely with drivers, subcontractors and customers, and use industry-leading systems to deliver exceptional service outcomes. Every day brings a new challenge as you help connect customers, operations and transport execution across a fast-paced national network.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity located at our Minchinbury, NSW site on afternoon shift, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday from 1:00pm - 9:00pm.
Key areas:
- Coordinate interstate and local freight movements, load allocations, bookings and changeovers across the transport network
- Optimise fleet and subcontractor utilisation to deliver safe, efficient and reliable service outcomes
- Execute live transport allocations and freight movements through Swift and related transport execution systems
- Maintain system integrity, ensuring transport orders and driver profiles are accurately created and updated to support operational visibility and service delivery
- Support compliance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue and operational requirements
- Build strong partnerships with drivers, subcontractors, customers and operations teams
Are you the one?
- Experience coordinating freight movements, fleet utilisation and subcontractor operations
- Knowledge of interstate and local transport operations and the East Coast road network
- Experience using Transport Management Systems, preferably Blue Yonder or similar platforms
- Exposure to transport execution systems including Swift and Blue Yonder
- Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and HVNL requirement
- Experience working directly with drivers, subcontractors and customers in a transport operations environment
