Where you'll be working

Boggabri Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) sits in northwest NSW, just 1.5 hours from Tamworth in a welcoming rural town of around 1,000 people. The service includes 16 Residential Aged Care beds, 4 acute care beds and a 2-bed Emergency Department, staffed by a close-knit team of Registered Nurses (RNs), Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs). Together, this creates a family-like environment where your care has an immediate, visible impact on the lives of patients, residents and the local community.

About the role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents within the Residential Aged Care facility while also supporting community clients receiving aged care services in their own homes. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you'll undertake clinical assessments, administer medications (where endorsed), develop strong therapeutic relationships and contribute to person-centred care planning. This diverse role offers the opportunity to work across residential aged care and community settings, making a meaningful difference in a supportive rural healthcare environment.

About you

You're a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who enjoys building strong relationships with patients, residents and their families. You thrive in a rural setting, work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You will bring:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach to care.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing clinical needs in both residential and community settings.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team while also being confident working autonomously.

These qualities will help you thrive in Boggabri's supportive rural team, where you'll receive a comprehensive orientation and ongoing support to develop your skills across aged care and community nursing.
