Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) is seeking an organised and motivated Clinical Support Officer to join our Maternity Services team at Tamworth Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of safe, respectful and woman-centred maternity care by providing high-quality administrative support to a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
As the Clinical Support Officer, you'll play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Maternity Services. Reporting to the Midwifery Manager and working closely with the Midwifery Unit Manager, you'll help ensure the service runs efficiently by providing a broad range of administrative and operational support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating workforce and recruitment administration.
- Maintaining staff rosters and responding to payroll and leave enquiries.
- Preparing reports, correspondence and other documentation.
- Supporting birth registration processes.
- Ordering and monitoring clinical and office supplies.
- Coordinating meetings and maintaining records.
- Providing professional administrative support to staff, patients and families.
