About Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Innovation Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tassal's innovation portfolio. Reporting to the Innovation Manager, you'll lead large- and small-scale cross-functional projects that deliver new products, packaging innovation, sustainability initiatives and strategic business improvements from concept through to implementation.
Working across Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality & Assurances and Commercial, you'll provide the leadership and governance to execute, ensuring projects are delivered successfully in a fast-paced environment.
More than a project delivery role, you'll act as the trusted 2IC to the Innovation Manager providing leadership support across the function and contributing to the broader innovation agenda. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded and influential leader who can bring clarity to complexity, build strong stakeholder relationships and drive outcomes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple concurrent FMCG projects from concept through to launch and implementation across NPD and renovation projects
Maintain a strong end-to-end view while managing detail, interdependencies and delivery risk
Proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies and constraints to maintain momentum across complex project environments
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risk and issue registers to ensure disciplined execution
Ensure projects are delivered on time, in full and to agreed quality, regulatory and commercial requirements through effective governance and reporting
Support the deployment of digitised PLM systems and partner with cross functional teams and external suppliers to deliver practical, scalable outcomes
Interstate travel as required

They are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and have the confidence to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. They build trusted relationships across functions, communicate with clarity and maintain momentum through ambiguity. Equally comfortable with innovation, operations, supply chain, quality, procurement and commercial teams, they bring a disciplined approach to project while remaining pragmatic and adaptable when priorities shift. the successful candidate will anticipate risks early, bringing structure to complexity and delivering projects that achieve tangible business outcomes

Experience & Qualifications
4+ years' experience in senior project delivery roles with end-to-end accountability
Proven experience in FMCG, food, seafood or regulated manufacturing environments (experience with short shelf-life products or protein highly regarded)
Strong working knowledge of Stage-Gate product development processes and formal project management methodologies, supported by excellent planning, communication and decision-making skills
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including direct leadership of at least one team member
Proven ability to lead, influence and align diverse cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
Curiosity and appetite for process improvement and automation for efficient and effective outcomes
