About the Role
Join our Pre Analytical Services team and play an important part in every patient's healthcare journey. You'll deliver compassionate specimen collection, provide outstanding customer service and ensure every sample is managed with care, accuracy and professionalism from collection through to the laboratory.
Working in a fast paced environment, you'll prepare, process and transport specimens, maintain accurate patient records using laboratory information systems and support clinicians with timely, high quality diagnostic services. Every day, you'll help deliver the reliable results that underpin safe and effective patient care.
About You
You're a customer focused professional who thrives in a fast paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high quality service.
Experience in pathology collection or a laboratory setting
Strong customer service and clear communication skills
Confident with laboratory systems and computer applications
Knowledge of NATA, WHS, infection control and confidentiality
- Experience in paediatric blood collection and data entry will be highly regarded.
