ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Advisor to join our People team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the business to provide trusted generalist HR advice, helping to create a positive and high-performing team member experience.
You'll support leaders across a broad range of people matters, including performance, conduct, grievances and employee relations, ensuring outcomes are compliant, consistent and aligned with our people-first approach. You'll coach leaders through complex workplace situations, provide practical guidance on HR policies and employment legislation, and contribute to a positive workplace culture where our team members can thrive.
Collaborating with leaders across our business, you'll oversee see HR processes, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies, and contribute to People initiatives and projects that support our global business strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving complex people challenges and making a meaningful impact across the business.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We're looking for someone who brings:
2-3 years' experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisory role.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, modern awards, industrial instruments and employee relations practices.
Proven experience managing employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievances and non-work-related injury or illness cases.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide clear, empathetic guidance to leaders and team members.
Confidence coaching leaders through people-related matters while balancing compliance and commercial outcomes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline (desirable).
