Associate Research Fellow - Workforce Research

About the Role
Join a nationally significant research project using the Medical Schools Outcomes Database (MSOD), the world's largest longitudinal study of medical student outcomes, spanning all Australian and New Zealand medical schools. This role will support a multi-institutional initiative to inform medical school selection and curriculum development, helping to address medical workforce shortages and improve access to healthcare in rural and underserved communities.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and analyse large datasets using R.
- Conduct statistical, predictive, and machine learning analyses.
- Contribute to research publications, reports, and presentations.
- Support project coordination, governance, and reporting.
- Prepare data and insights for accreditation and strategic planning.

What You'll Bring
- PhD (or working towards) in biostatistics, epidemiology, health sciences, data science, or a related discipline.
Advanced skills in R, Stata, or similar statistical software, with experience managing and analysing large datasets. - Strong expertise in quantitative analysis, predictive modelling, and evidence-based research.
- Proven track record contributing to high-impact research projects, publications, and reports.
- Exceptional scientific writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear insights.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to deliver high-quality work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

- Employment type: Fixed-term | Full-time (to 31 December 2028)
- Level A: $99,002 - $115,989 + 17% Superannuation.
