Job Description

Location: DIDO ex Geraldton to Cue, W.A.
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights, 7 Off - Even Time
Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent

Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the Cue Supervisor is a critical frontline leadership role responsible for supervising a team of FIFO drivers and Loader Operators supporting our Iron Ridge Mine and Beebyn/W11 mining operations.

You'll also provide on-the-ground support to depot-based drivers servicing these routes, ensuring seamless coordination across all moving parts. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and vital to maintaining operational continuity and strong engagement across a remote team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a sizeable frontline team and drive performance, safety, and team alignment across operations.
  • Maintain a strong daily on-site presence, providing hands-on operational support and maintaining alignment with key site stakeholders.
  • Monitor loader performance and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and operational support as needed.
  • Oversee daily depot operations, including yard management, shift transitions, and general site organisation.
  • Support weighbridge and driver movements, ensuring accurate data and smooth coordination.
  • Manage accommodation logistics for FIFO and depot staff, including room allocations and catering liaison.
  • Coordinate cleaning services and maintain high hygiene and presentation standards in accommodation and shared facilities.
  • Oversee essential services such as water supply, waste management, and general site upkeep.
  • Promote a safety-first culture, manage hazards, and ensure compliance with all safety and fatigue protocols.
  • Work closely with your rostered counterpart to provide consistent leadership and operational continuity.

What You'll Bring

  • Leadership experience in a transport, mining, or logistics setting (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team through clarity and consistency
  • Practical mindset and willingness to step into operational tasks when needed
  • A passion for connecting remote workers and fostering a positive team culture
  • A safety-first approach with an eye for process improvement
  • MC licence and loader ticket (highly regarded)
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Appointment or willingness to obtain
