The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our Open Space team based in Darwin.

This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and installing commercial and residential irrigation systems across a range of exciting projects.

Working alongside a dedicated team, you will help ensure our clients' landscapes and open spaces remain healthy, functional, and maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair and upgrade irrigation systems
  • Complete irrigation installations, modifications and replacements
  • Diagnose faults across pumps, controllers, valves, pipework and irrigation components
  • Ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently and meet client requirements
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and clients
  • Complete works safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as an irrigation technician or similar trade role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial irrigation systems and maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a positive team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A commitment to workplace health, safety, environment and quality standards
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use digital work systems
  • Ability to undertake a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.

A relevant trade qualification, irrigation certification or experience in commercial landscaping environments will be highly regarded.
