Join the Interventional Radiology team at Nepean Hospital as a Bookings Officer, where you will coordinate patient appointments and specialised procedures while providing high quality administrative support in a busy tertiary hospital environment. Working closely with patients, clinicians, and referrers, you will help ensure timely access to care and a seamless patient experience.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Demonstrated relevant experience, preferably in hospital or health service administration.
  2. Proven ability to coordinate complex bookings within tight timeframes while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
  3. Demonstrated excellent organisational and problem-solving techniques with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  4. Familiarity with medical terminology and scheduling processes. Possess a positive attitude and sound work ethic while adapting to changing work environments
  5. Demonstrated ability to show initiative and use sound judgment and work collaboratively and as part of a team as well as independently.
  6. Highly developed communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to interact with people at all levels.
  7. Possess a positive attitude and sound work ethic while adapting to changing work processes and environments.
  8. Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidently, and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and urgency.
