About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our Karrattha Clinic on a Full Time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client care.

Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will deliver a high standard of occupational health and primary care nursing services to our clients while supporting workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.

While previous occupational health experience will be highly regarded, it is not essential-we are committed to providing training and support for the right candidate who is eager to learn and develop their skills in this rewarding specialty.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Delivering high-quality occupational health and nursing services with a high level of clinical autonomy.
  • Conducting assessments and triage.
  • Administering vaccinations, including workplace immunisation programs, and providing travel health consultations.
  • Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Assisting with health assessments, medicals, and occupational health screening.
  • Monitoring, ordering, and maintaining clinical stock and supplies.
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and sterilising clinical equipment in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with Department of Health and Human Services protocols and relevant legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Supporting workplace health promotion and preventative health initiatives.
  • Undertaking general administrative duties as required to support the efficient operation of the clinic.

About You

The successful candidate will be a confident and organised Registered Nurse who is passionate about occupational health and committed to providing outstanding client care.

Essential Requirements

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of clinical competence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Current CPR Certification.

  • Strong commitment to person-centered care, confidentiality, and quality improvement.

Desirable

  • Certificate in Phlebotomy.
  • Current Immunisation Certificate.
  • Experience in occupational health, general practice, or workplace health services.
  • Experience conducting health assessments and workplace medicals.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and occupational health practices.
