Service Liaison, 6-Month Contract, Sydney Trust
The Opportunity
This role will be the Client Service ambassador of the boutique, ensuring the correct services compliment the Client experience of all clients. Being a role model for embodying the service values of the house whilst extending exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Hospitality Support
- Support the sales team in delivering exceptional client hospitality through the preparation and service of food, beverages, and refreshments.
- Ensure all client service areas, lounges, and private appointment spaces are fully stocked and presentation-ready throughout the day.
- Prepare refreshments and service items for client appointments and in-store events.
- Maintain high standards of service and presentation in all client-facing areas.
- Respond promptly to ad hoc client service requests and support the sales team as required.
Service Supplies & Replenishment
- Monitor, organize, and replenish all client service tools and hospitality supplies.
- Ensure service items such as glassware, porcelain, packaging, umbrellas, and other hospitality tools are consistently available and well presented.
- Maintain stock accuracy and organization of all service storage areas.
- Support the implementation of new service tools and operational processes as required.
Boutique Presentation & Housekeeping
- Ensure the boutique is always maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Regularly inspect and tidy selling areas, client lounges, fitting rooms, private client spaces, and common areas.
- Clean display cabinets, counters, service stations, and other boutique fixtures as required.
- Support the sales team in resetting and organizing fitting rooms between client appointments.
- Ensure all client-facing areas remain welcoming, organized, and fully operational throughout trading hours.
- Support boutique operations during peak trading periods and client events.
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Availability to work within a 7-day roster including weekends
- Experience in customer service and/or hospitality.
- A team player attitude and the ability to embody the values of the Hermes Maison.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Display a high standard of presentation and grooming.
- Highly efficient and organised by nature, possessing strong attention to detail
- The ability to quickly adapt to an ever-evolving, rapid moving retail environment whilst maintaining professionalism.
- The ability to work independently while balancing collaboration with a team.
