Geotechnical/Engineering Geologist - Intermediate to Principal

Currently, we are looking for experienced Geotechnical/Engineering Geologists at the intermediate to Principal level looking to join our expanding team in Brisbane. You will be managing ground investigations, design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel.

Furthermore you will:

• Work with the team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
• Monitor project progress against budgets
• Manage fieldwork and derivation of ground models
• Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence
• Undertake geotechnical design and analyses across a range of landforms

In terms of projects we work on:

• Various wind & solar farms projects
• Road & rail infrastrcuture (e.g https://www.cmwgeosciences.com...)
• Land development

To be eligible we are looking for the following:

• Relevant Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or similar from a recognised tertiary institution
• At least 5+ years of experience
• Experience in managing a large-scale geotechnical investigation project
• Proven experience mentoring & training junior engineers
• Experience with geotechnical software such Geostudio, Plaxis 2D or 3D, Wallap, Slide 2D/3D or similar would be beneficial
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Technical report writing abilities
