Hamilton Island is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Golf Operations Attendant to join the team at the award-winning Hamilton Island Golf Club on Dent Island. Designed by five-time British Open Champion Peter Thomson, our championship course offers one of Australia's most spectacular golfing experiences. In this guest-focused role, you'll help deliver an exceptional golf experience while showcasing the outstanding service Hamilton Island is renowned for.

Your Role

As a Golf Operations Attendant, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional golfing experience from arrival to departure. You'll welcome guests, assist with golf equipment and buggy hire, coordinate transfers, and ensure the course facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Where you'll make an impact

• Welcome guests with friendly and professional service
• Assist with golf club handling, shoe hire, hire clubs, and buggy allocation
• Coordinate guest transfers between the clubhouse and jetty
• Maintain and clean golf clubs, golf carts, shoes, and equipment
• Inspect golf carts and equipment, reporting any damage or maintenance requirements
• Provide guests with information about the course and facilities
• Assist with caddying and marshalling duties when required
• Ensure presentation standards are maintained across the golf operations area
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience

What we're looking for

You're passionate about golf and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service. With a positive attitude and professional presentation, you'll thrive in a guest-focused environment while contributing to the smooth daily operation of one of Australia's most unique golf destinations.

To be successful, you will need:

• Minimum 1 year's experience in Golf Operations (Essential)
• Current Open Queensland Driver Licence (Essential)
• Passion for golf and exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Confidence interacting with guests from around the world
• Flexible approach to working weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts
