Based in I-MED rotating across a cluster of our North-East Melbourne clinics a permanent Full-Time/Part-Time opportunity exists for a Radiographer to join our friendly and collaborative team. As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases.

Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient imaging services across a variety of modalities. This is a Monday to Friday position, with shifts scheduled between 6:00am and 10.00pm (site and modality dependent), and occasional on-call duties limited to hospital sites. Weekend work is also available as optional overtime.

Experience in MRI is highly regarded, however MRI training can be provided to suitable candidates.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT and MRI.
  • Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards

Key selection criteria:

  • Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
  • Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
